SRVO-075: Pulse not established
The absolute encoder hasn't yet established its position reference - the expected follow-up after a BZAL (SRVO-062) or CMAL (SRVO-073) event and battery/encoder work.
What it means
The absolute encoder hasn't yet established its position reference - the expected follow-up after a BZAL (SRVO-062) or CMAL (SRVO-073) event and battery/encoder work. Not a new problem: it's the recovery sequence asking for one more step.
Common causes
Ranked by what technicians most often find, most likely first.
- Normal aftermath of BZAL/CMAL recovery - the encoder needs motion to re-establish its pulse reference.
- Appearing on its own without a preceding encoder event: treat as an encoder/cable investigation.
How to fix it
- Reset the alarm, then jog the named axis about one motor revolution until the alarm stops recurring.
- This must be cleared BEFORE mastering - it's the step people skip, then wonder why mastering won't take.
- Then complete the mastering procedure and verify positions before production.
